ExchangeMonitor Decommissioning Strategy Forum Rescheduled, Relocated

By ExchangeMonitor

The ExchangeMonitor’s 2020 Decommissioning Strategy Forum is being pushed back from June to September and relocated to Henderson, Nev.

The continuing COVID-19 pandemic made it impossible to stick to the original schedule to hold the conference on June 8-9 in Nashville, according to the ExchangeMonitor’s parent company, Access Intelligence.

“Please note that out of concern for the safety and well-being of our attendees, exhibitors and staff, the 2020 Decommissioning Strategy Forum is now taking place at Green Valley Ranch Resort, Henderson, NV, on Sept. 10-11, 2020,” Access Intelligence said in a statement Wednesday.

In its first two years, the Decommissioning Strategy Forum attracted hundreds of participants from government and the private sector for panel discussions and expert presentations on the commercial nuclear decommissioning industry.

The 2020 event will immediately follow the ExchangeMonitor’s RadWaste Summit, scheduled for Sept. 8-9 at the Green Valley resort. The Summit will remain focused on topics related to environmental remediation of the Department of Energy nuclear complex, featuring a keynote speech from Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Environmental Management Todd Shrader.
