The Exchange Monitor will host its annual Nuclear Deterrence Summit Tuesday through Thursday this week in Alexandria, Va.
Programming was scheduled to begin Tuesday morning with a pre-conference workshop, followed by an afternoon keynote address from Charles Verdon, the National Nuclear Security Administration’s (NNSA) deputy administrator for defense programs.
Bob Raines, NNSA’s associate administrator for acquisition and project management, was scheduled to follow Verdon, after which the directors of the three NNSA nuclear weapons laboratories were slated to take the stage for a panel discussion.
The conference was scheduled to run through noon Eastern time on Thursday and wrap up with a panel discussion featuring senior uniformed officials from the Air Force and the Navy.
