Ex-NNSA Boss Joins Board of Asset Tracking Company

By ExchangeMonitor

Former National Nuclear Security Administration Administrator Lisa Gordon-Hagerty joined the board of directors of Visible Assets, a closely held New Hampshire company that sells rugged, magnetic-based  asset-tracking and “internet of things” systems to military and high-tech clients.

Visible Assets announced the move in a press release on Tuesday. It’s the first publicly announced foray back into the private sector for the longtime national security policy hand, who led the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) for almost all of former President Donald Trump’s entire term in office. Gordon-Hagerty resigned in November at the request of then-Secretary of Energy Dan Brouillette.

Visible Assets’ flagship wireless technology is called RuBee. In its press release yesterday, the company listed as clients the Department of Energy, Department of Defense, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, General Dynamics and the armed forces of Estonia and Australia, among others.

It wasn’t clear from the company’s website how much revenue Visible Assets generates each year. The website does include a presentation from 2011 about the Pantex Plant piloting RuBee trackers.
