EM AWARDS R&D WORK TO MITRE CORPORATION

The Department of Energy late last week awarded a task order to the MITRE Corporation for research and development work for the Office of Environmental Management. The $5.9 million task order has a nine-month base period and a nine-month option period. MITRE is a non-profit organization that manages contracts for the Internal Revenue Service, and work for the Department of Defense, Federal Aviation Administration and Department of Homeland Security.
