The Department of Energy’s Office of Acquisition and Project Management has selected three teams to provide project management support services, including teams led by two incumbent contractors. WC Monitor has learned that teams led by incumbents TechSource and Longenecker & Associates as well as relative newcomer MOCA Systems, a Newton, Mass.-based small business, were selected to perform EVMS reviews and certifications as well as independent cost estimates and other support work. The contracts are believed to be for one year with four one-year options, with a ceiling of about $35 million, though the amount available to each team could differ and is likely vary by the amount of work available.

The TechSource team includes Logistics Management Institute, MPR, Black and Veatch, and KM Systems Group. The Longenecker team includes Project Time and Cost, MCR Federal, Earned Value Associates, AzTech International, and ABS Consulting. The composition of the MOCA Systems team is not known. DOE did not respond to a request for comment.
