DOE BEGINS MARKET RESEARCH FOR NEW NEPA SUPPORT CONTRACTS

The Department of Energy has begun examining whether there are companies that hold GSA Schedule 899 capable of performing NEPA support services. DOE issued a sources sought notice earlier this week seeking information from interested companies, which have until Sept. 9 to respond. DOE is currently considering the use of multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements for NEPA support services, which focus on the preparation of environmental impact statements, environmental assessments and other related documents. The “estimated magnitude” for such work is $125 million over five years, the notice says.
