DOE AWARDS TASK ORDER TO WCS FOR LOS ALAMOS WASTE

The Department of Energy yesterday awarded a task order to Waste Control Specialists to receive waste from Los Alamos National Laboratory. The work is to dispose of 355 cubic yards of Class C Mixed Low-Level Waste that come from cleanup and remediation activities at LANL. The fixed price task order has a  $2,225,140 value, a one-year period of performance and comes under the Environmental Management Low-Level and Mixed Low-Level Waste Disposal Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Master Contract.
