The story “NNSA Plans Expedited Environmental Review of Pit Production at SRS” (Weapons Complex Morning Briefing, Jan. 07, 2020) should have said that the agency will not conduct a new environmental review of its plan to produce 80 plutonium pits a year by 2030, but that it could conduct a more limited review of the local effects of converting the Mixed Oxide Fuel Fabrication Facility at the Savannah River Site into a pit plant.

NEW: Via public records request, I’ve been able to confirm reporting today that a warrant has been issued for DOE deputy asst. secretary of spent fuel and waste disposition Sam Brinton for another luggage theft, this time at Las Vegas’s Harry Reid airport. (cc: @EMPublications)
