An article in the April 11 edition of Weapons Complex Morning Briefing, “Bechtel Seeks Permission to Install Pipe for WTP,” should have said the company’s contract with Department of Energy to build the Waste Treatment Plant at the Hanford Site is worth about $14.5 billion, and that roughly $7.5 billion of the total is for the infrastructure needed to starting cleaning up the site’s low-activity liquid waste by 2023.
