An article in the March 3 edition of RadWaste Monitor incorrectly reported that ENERCON has abandoned plans for a nuclear waste storage borehole test in Quay County, N.M. The company is continuing public outreach during the Department of Energy contract selection process, officials said.

NEW: Via public records request, I’ve been able to confirm reporting today that a warrant has been issued for DOE deputy asst. secretary of spent fuel and waste disposition Sam Brinton for another luggage theft, this time at Las Vegas’s Harry Reid airport. (cc: @EMPublications)
