CORRECTION

The story “Decommissioning Company Fires Back at Watchdog’s Challenge to TMI Sale” (RadWaste Monitor, July 16, 2021) should have said that Three Mile Island’s Unit 2 reactor shut down in 1979. The article also should have said that an SRBC spokesperson provided comment to the Monitor on Thursday, July 8.

NEW: Via public records request, I’ve been able to confirm reporting today that a warrant has been issued for DOE deputy asst. secretary of spent fuel and waste disposition Sam Brinton for another luggage theft, this time at Las Vegas’s Harry Reid airport. (cc: @EMPublications)
