A story in the Monday edition of Weapons Complex Morning Briefing should have said the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant in New Mexico on June 15 entered Phase 2 of the Energy Department’s remobilization following on-site staffing drawdowns in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

NEW: Via public records request, I’ve been able to confirm reporting today that a warrant has been issued for DOE deputy asst. secretary of spent fuel and waste disposition Sam Brinton for another luggage theft, this time at Las Vegas’s Harry Reid airport. (cc: @EMPublications)
