CONTRACTORS PROVIDE INFO ON REPS. FOR HEARING ON EM CONTRACTS

By ExchangeMonitor

Bechtel National is sending U.S. Environmental Manager Michael Graham to testify at this week’s Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs subcommittee hearing on the Department of Energy’s major cleanup contracts, Bechtel confirmed late last week. The panel had invited Bechtel National President Craig Albert or another contractor representative to testify at the June 27 hearing. Parsons is sending Frank Sheppard, Deputy Project Manager for the Salt Waste Processing Facility project, to testify at the hearing, instead of Parsons CEO Charles Harrington, WC Monitor has learned. WC Monitor has also learned that Michael McKelvy, President of CH2M HILL’s Government, Environment & Infrastructure Division, will be testifying in the place of CH2M Hill CEO Lee Mcintire, who was also invited by the panel. CH2M Hill did not respond to a request for comment late last week.
