Congressional nuclear security working group and ANWA host panel Tuesday

The congressional nuclear security working group, chaired by Reps. Chuck Fleischmann (R-Tenn.) and Bill Foster (D-Ill.), will host a panel discussion with Bechtel and the Advanced Nuclear Weapons Alliance Deterrence Center on the Capitol Tuesday.

Gen. Thomas Bussiere, commander of the Air Force Global Strike Command at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., will give the keynote on nuclear security modernization, which will be followed by a discussion moderated by Richard Tighe, president and CEO of Consolidated Nuclear Security, the Bechtel-led prime contractor at Y-12 National Security Complex.

The discussion was scheduled for 5:00 p.m. eastern time, followed by a reception at 6:00 p.m., at Rayburn House Office Building, rooms 2044 and 2045.
