Clarification

An article in the Sept. 23 issue of Weapons Complex Morning Briefing should have stated that an internal report by utility Southern California Edison addressed concerns raised by a Nuclear Regulatory Commission inspector about scratching on canisters of used fuel at the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station.

NEW: Via public records request, I’ve been able to confirm reporting today that a warrant has been issued for DOE deputy asst. secretary of spent fuel and waste disposition Sam Brinton for another luggage theft, this time at Las Vegas’s Harry Reid airport. (cc: @EMPublications)
