B&W Y-12 RELEASES EXPRESSION OF INTEREST ON LIQUID WASTE

By ExchangeMonitor

B&W Y-12, LLC, has released an expression of interest for liquid waste management services at the Y-12 National Security Complex. “The seller will perform all necessary functions to manage, treat, and disposition the existing inventory of wastewater and sludge within the first two years of the subcontract as well as all wastewater received and sludge generated,” the EOI states. B&W Y-12 has set a tentative schedule for the release of a request for proposals in August or September this year. The EOI is open to all qualified businesses, but if the responses show that there is enough small business capacity a subsequent RFP would become a small business set aside. Responses are due on April 16.
