Professional Project Services or Pro2Serve, appointed Sherry Browder as president and chief executive officer, the Tennessee-based Department of Energy contractor said Wednesday
In her new role, Browder, who last October was selected as the company’s president and chief operating officer, will be responsible for managing Pro2Serve’s offices, subsidiaries, contracts and staff nationwide, according to a Wednesday press release.
In the same press release, Pro2Serve said Mark DeGraff, appointed as CEO last October to succeed company founder and chairman Barry Goss in the chief executive slot, will become chief development officer, responsible for leading new business pursuits and related support functions.
The moves were to be effective July 1. Both Browder and DeGraff will report to the Pro2Serve board, according to the release.
In the release, board chairman Goss called Browder and DeGraff two of the most experienced and respected leaders in the Department of Energy and Department of Defense government contractor services community. “The Pro2Serve Board is confident that they will provide the executive leadership needed to continue the growth and development of our employee-owned company.”
Browder has more than 30 years of experience working for the government and government contractors, Pro2Serve said in the release. DeGraff has over 40 years of government contractor experience and has spent the past 20 years with Pro2Serve, according to the release.
A Pro2Serve company, Enterprise Technical Assistance Services or ETAS, holds a three-year, $162-million technical services contract with DOE’s Portsmouth-Paducah Project Office. That deal started in April 2020 and runs through March 2023.
