Bernhard Capital buys Apogee

By ExchangeMonitor

Louisiana-based Bernhard Capital Partners is adding another government contractor to its portfolio, announcing Tuesday it has purchased technology solutions provider Apogee Engineering for an undisclosed price.

In a Tuesday press release, Bernhard said Apogee has a 20-year record of providing program management, cybersecurity and other technology needs to the U.S. government.

“As the government seeks to modernize its technological infrastructure, Apogee has positioned itself as a provider of choice for clients across the government technology market, with services ranging from advanced engineering to cybersecurity,” said Brian Ferraioli in the release. He chairs Bernhard’s government services platform.

Bernhard previously announced the purchase of Department of Energy contractors Strategic Management Solutions in April and Boston Government Service and Sterling Engineering & Consulting in December 2022.

According to the company’s website, Apogee specializes in national security work. It is headquartered in Colorado Springs, with offices in Ohio and Virginia, Apogee is led by President and CEO Frank Varga.
