Sandia Seeking Security Operation Services Contractor for California Site

The Sandia National Laboratories is seeking a contractor for security operation services at its Livermore, Calif., site, a 400-acre area that includes national security research and development laboratories and facilities. Both large and small businesses are eligible to bid on the contract for an estimated five-year period of performance. Bidding companies must have experience “providing armed protective force personnel and protective services safeguarding people and classified assets” at facilities with requirements similar to those of the Department of Energy, the solicitation says. Bids are due by Jan. 14, 2016 and can be submitted electronically at www.fedconnect.net/Fedconnect/ or by hard copy to Ariane Kaminsky, contracting officer for the NNSA’s M&O Contracting Branch at 19901 Germantown Road, Germantown, MD 20874.
