NNSS Security Contractor Earns 90 Percent of Available FY14 Fee

Security contractor Centerra Group received an excellent rating for its Fiscal Year 2014 protective force work at the Nevada National Security Site, earning $2.25 million in fee out of $2.49 million available, according to information recently released by the National Nuclear Security Administration. Centerra was known as WSI-Nevada until it was purchased by a private equity firm last year, and it was awarded 92.05 rating points by the NNSA for “significantly exceeding expected levels” during the year. The fee earned was 90.2 percent of the available fee. Centerra’s FY 2014 performance represented a marked improvement from its FY 2013 record, when it earned 76 percent of its available fee ($1.85 million out of $2.47 million available) and a “very good” rating.
