David Campbell, former senior vice president of Veolia Nuclear Solutions Federal Services, is joining EnergySolutions, the Salt Lake-City based company said Tuesday.
Campbell, whose background includes executive stints at Bechtel as well as the Department of Energy’s semi-autonomous National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), will be joining EnergySolutions as the company’s executive vice president for business development and growth, the company said in a Tuesday press release.
The announcement comes roughly a month after William (Billy) Morrison, former president and CEO of Veolia Nuclear Solutions Federal Services, moved to EnergySolutions as chief operating officer of waste management, federal services and commercial development.
Campbell has been a member of the board of the Canadian Nuclear Association since 2014, EnergySolutions said in the release. He was expected to formally start with his new employer Sept. 26.
“David has extensive experience leading organizations into and growing new domestic and international markets across the federal and commercial space,” EnergySolutions President and CEO, Ken Robuck said in the press release.
“I’m excited to join a company steeped in history and with such a unique role across the nuclear market as both a leader in waste management, remediation and reactor decontamination and decommissioning,” Campbell said in the release.
