ANDERSON NAMED PERMANENT HEAD OF LANL NUCLEAR AND HIGH HAZARD OPS

URS executive Charlie Anderson has formally been named Los Alamos National Laboratory’s Associate Director for Nuclear and High Hazard Operations after serving in the role in an acting capacity for the last eight months. Anderson, who joined the laboratory in 2009 as the Deputy Associate Director for Nuclear and High Hazard Operations, takes over for Bob McQuinn, who moved to URS headquarters in July. Anderson previously served as the General Manager of Nuclear Management Partners in the United Kingdom and in several different positions within the Department of Energy, including Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Office of Environmental Management the deputy manager for cleanup at the Savannah River Site.
