CHANTILLY, VA – Amentum has announced Corhyn Parr as its vice president of international development on Tuesday. Parr previously served as the CEO of Nuclear Waste Services, a subdivision of the United Kingdom’s Nuclear Decommissioning Authority and was the director of Integrated Waste at the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority.

I am thrilled to join Amentum at such an exciting time in the company’s growth,” Parr stated in the press release. “I look forward to collaborating with an exceptional team to drive innovative solutions and create value for our clients around the world.”

After graduating as a mechanical engineer, Parr has been involved with the nuclear industry for over 20 years, working in operations, generation, decommissioning and waste management across most of the nuclear licensed sites in the United Kingdom, according to the release. She has also worked internationally in Canada, USA and other European countries.

While Parr has served in CEO and director roles, she has served in various other roles such as a board member of the Nuclear Institute and the chair of the Nuclear Skills Strategy Group.

In Parr’s previous role as the director, she brought its Radioactive Waste Management and Low-Level Waste Repository together to form one singular organization and created an integrated national program.
