The landlord contractor overseeing roads, grounds and daily services at the Department of Energy’s Hanford Site in Washington state told employees Tuesday the executives acting as president and chief operations officer are now the permanent bosses.
Leidos-led Hanford Mission Integration Solutions (HMIS) Amy Basche as president and chief operations officer Todd Synoground “have been confirmed and are no longer ‘acting’ roles,” the pair said in an Aug. 6 email to employees.
The emailed memo, viewed by Exchange Monitor, lists several other management changes, following the recent departure of HMIS president Bob Wilkinson, who left to become president of another Hanford prime, Amentum-led Central Plateau Cleanup.
Basche has been chief operation officer for both HMIS, and its Leidos-led predecessor, Hanford Mission Support Alliance. She has held executive level management posts at Hanford since 2008, when she was a vice president at Washington River Protection Solutions, according to her LinkedIn profile. She has worked at Hanford for more than 30 years, according to her online company bio.
Synoground has 30 years of nuclear facility experience and has also held high-ranking posts for HMIS, Mission Support Alliance and Washington River Protection Solutions, according to his LinkedIn profile. HMIS is made up of Leidos, Centerra and Parsons.
