Correction and Clarification

The story “Disposal pros critique low-level waste compact system, license reciprocity at conference,” [RadWaste Monitor Vol. 16 No. 23] should have attributed certain price swings for radioactive waste disposal services to license reciprocity policies of individual states.

The story “EnergySolutions eyes state approval for DUF6 disposal in 2024” [RadWaste Monitor Vol. 16 No. 22] should have reported the Utah Department of Environmental Quality has not scheduled a permit modification hearing yet for EnergySolutions.

NEW: Via public records request, I’ve been able to confirm reporting today that a warrant has been issued for DOE deputy asst. secretary of spent fuel and waste disposition Sam Brinton for another luggage theft, this time at Las Vegas’s Harry Reid airport. (cc: @EMPublications)
